RESNA

The Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America - RESNA

Goals:

The Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America - RESNA was conceived as an interdisciplinary society to promote the transfer of science, engineering and technology to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. Currently, RESNA has over 1,400 members, the bulk of whom are concentrated in the US and Canada. There are 7 Special Interest Groups (SIG's) and 7 Professional Specialty Groups (PSG's).
Xululabs had the honor of providing a collaborative system for the different groups of RESNA and its main website.

Solution:

Xululabs has built a federation of over 14 sites for RESNA (Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America). Some of these sites have 1500 members that interact and exchange information. This is handled via the efficient and highly sophisticated Drupal CMS features. The different domains were developed with complete set of information for its special interest groups. An interactive online community of users was developed with the use of forums and member directory listings.

RESNA was built with deeply interlinked domains. A consistent look and feel is obvious on its different domains for relevance and user ease. Serving its core objectives, the website was equipped with the facility of font size options. A smooth architecture with clear navigation menus engages the RESNA website users in a convenient manner.
